Attend the Healing Mass
Bless the Lord, my soul; all my being, bless his holy name!
Bless the Lord, my soul; do not forget all the gifts of God, who pardons all your sins, heals all your ills,
Delivers your life from the pit, surrounds you with love and compassion, Fills your days with good things; your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 103: 1-5
We celebrate two healing Masses each year which include the Sacrament of the Sick and the Rosary Candlelight Procession to the Grotto.
The first on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, February 11th, and the second on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, August 15th.
Our Lord uses many of the signs of Lourdes to bring us healing of body, mind, and spirit. As we will all one day end our earthly journey, complete healing includes the forgiveness of sins and restoration of a right relationship with God and our neighbor. It is for that reason that the healing we encounter in the Sacrament of the Sick includes the forgiveness of sin and the Sacrament is celebrated by a priest.
